The Taste of the Danforth is one of most popular streetfests in Toronto attracting HUGE crowds (approx 1.6M visitors during the 3 days/2 nights).
Enjoy the diverse delacies of The Danforth including Greek, of course. With many FREE activities, live performances and a large amusements area, there’s certainly something for everyone!! The street has a vast array of patios you can rest your weary feet, or just pick up a ‘snack’ or a full meal from one of the many stalls.
Festival is held along Danforth Ave between Broadview Ave and Donlands.
– Try the Quails – One of The Taste’s specialties!! Messini’s is worth the wait too!
– Consider going earlier in the day if you don’t like overcrowding – less chance of large queues!
– Best taking TTC (Broadview, Chester, Pape or even Donlands stations; Dundas & King streetcars). Why? Cos parking’s a nightmare in the area, esp. later in the day.
