Oct 14, 2017-Jan 14, 2018: Innovation Circa 1867 is an exhibit featuring artifacts, reproductions and images highlighting new and emerging technologies and ideas circa 1867.
Building on the innovative mindset and interests of John Howard and his contemporaries and dispelling stereotypes of persistent pioneer living at the time of confederation.
This exhibit will highlight what was new and exciting in the 20-year period around confederation, how innovation entered the public consciousness and the rapid change that was the life experience of the confederation generation.
The event runs from October 14, 2017 to January 14, 2018
The exhibit is open Tuesday to Friday (12:00 pm – 4:00 pm) and is included with museum admission.
