Feb 4 – Dec 31, 2017: As one of the most diverse cities in the world, Toronto’s residents have many different immigration stories.
Contribute your or your family’s story of immigration to Canada to the Spadina Museum world map of journeys. Pinpoint your origin and post a bit of your family history by answering a question like:
- When did you or your ancestors first arrive in Canada?
- What does indigenous Canadian mean to you?
- What is the best thing about living in Toronto?
Get creative and illustrate your story too! Throughout 2017 visitors to Spadina Museum will share their stories and pictures and contribute to the map of Torontonians.
Check back throughout the year to see how the map develops. It’s FREE (does not include admission to the restored museum).
