Celebrate Toronto – City’s 189th Anniversary Festival – has expanded to 2 full weeks of programming in multiple venues across the city, exploring and celebrating Toronto’s arts, culture, and diversity.
The 189th Anniversary Launch Party kicks off the celebrations on Monday, March 6th from 5:00-10:00 pm (Nathan Phillips Sq.) with local vendors, food trucks, skating and a licensed warming lounge.
Enjoy special Live Performances by: New Choir, Pan Fantasy Steelband, Glenn Lewis and Savannah Ré.
Celebrate Toronto’s extended programming venues include
- Rivoli: live music, curated art shows and comedy nights
- El Mocambo’s Starlight Room: transforms into a throwback to Toronto’s ’90s dance scene
- Daniels Spectrum: will be home to the Toronto Made Market, featuring 70 small businesses
Celebrate Toronto will also be host to the official opening of Ascent Gallery with a curated Toronto themed show, and a special 65-year commemoration of the Historic Silver Dollar Room with a weekend of jazz music inspired by the ‘50s and ‘60s.
