For 4 days in December, the streets of Kitchener transform into a traditional festival of Christmas that dates back 700 years. Christkindl Market recreates the sights, sounds, smells and spirit of the Christmas festivals found across Germany.
Kitchener City Hall is home to Canada’s original Christkindl Market – since 1997. Christkindl Market is an outdoor/indoor market made up of cute wooden booths and stalls.
It’s full of traditional handmade Christmas ornaments, nutcrackers, wooden figurines, delicious German foods to suit every taste, music and dancing.
