The Forsythia Festival is held every May in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood of Toronto. Cabbagetown residents gather at Wellesley Park to celebrate the official welcoming of Spring.
Forsythia Festival Parade
The day starts with a Parade. Everyone gathers at the corner of Sumach and Winchester Streets (10 am). The parade then makes its way through the neighbourhood. All lead by a band.
If you want to participate in the parade, wear Yellow. Be creative.
Following the parade will be a day full of family-friendly activities and entertainment including games, a bouncy castle, face painting at Wellesley Park.
