The Inaugural Rosé Picnic takes over the beautiful grounds of Fort York in downtown Toronto and you’re invited to enjoy an afternoon with friends, celebrate summer and experience the versatility of Rosé wine paired with a sampling of delicious food offerings from Mark McEwan’s signature restaurants.

Chef McEwan’s portfolio of restaurants including One, North 44, ByMark, and Fabricca, will each offer a signature item from their restaurant menus  (McEwan food’s gourmet picnic baskets for two are also available for pre-sale).

In order to enter the grounds, guests must be dressed in pink and/or white and will receive a pink picnic blanket when they arrive, transforming Fort York into a sea of Rosé.

Featured Rosé wines include

  • Hogwash Rosé from Napa Valley, California
  • Moet & Chandon Rosé Champagne

There will be plenty of live performances from bands and DJs, as well as exclusive VIP experiences available.

*A portion of the proceeds will go to Rethink Breast Cancer.

  1. Loud enough? I like fun but…….come on Rose picnic people!!!!!!! Trying to sit on my back deck and have a glass of rose too….

  2. Can you please keep it down, the music I mean? Every festival or event at Fort York seems to think it’s ok to blare music so that everyone living in a 5 km radius gets to hear it. Well, guess what, I don’t like having to track when you’re having events so I can plan to get out of town that weekend. I’m sick of it. Please stop.

    • In their FAQs, it states:

Yes, baskets are sold separately from admission tickets. You can purchase on our ticket website until July 8“.
Here’s the link to that ticket page [LINK] – scroll down, they’re at the bottom – Options #1, #2 or #3. It appears they’re still available!
