APR 1 (Sunday): Every spring, the annual Toronto Beaches Lions Easter Parade brings Queen Street East to life with colour, music, fun and entertainment.
There’s fun floats, costumes and lots of candy/chocolates handed out along the parade route with the Easter Bunny making a special appearance!
The Easter Parade begins at
2:00 PM and will last approximately 2 hours. Rain or shine, so dress appropriately!
Go Early if you’d like a good viewing spot for the kids – Parents… you know what to do! 😉
Route: Queen Street East beginning at Munro Park and ends at Woodbine Avenue.
Easter Egg Hunt
There’s an Easter Egg Hunt (Kew Gardens) on Good Friday (March 30, 2018) from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance. Don’t forget your basket!!
BRC Beaches Easter 5k and Kids 1k
Before the Parade (Sunday, April 1), you can either watch or participate in the Beaches Easter Day 5k (adult: 10:00 am) & 1k Bunny Hop (kids: 9:30 am) along the Boardwalk.
Registration is available until March 28, 2018 or until all the spots are filled up.
ROAD CLOSURES in effect.
Tip: Try and take TTC if you can as parking will be very hard to find in the area, especially with the road closures! You have several options: Southbound buses from Coxwell, Woodbine or Main subway stations or the Queen St streetcar (eastbound – which may be substituted for buses on the day).
