Toronto Downhill Ski Centres – Earl Bales (and Centennial Park) – provide destinations for those who would like to learn how to ski/snowboard, or for those who just enjoy leisure skiing.
Looking for a challenge? Best to travel outside of the city to Blue Mountain or Horseshoe Valley as these slopes are really just ‘hills’.
Both ski centres are run by the City of Toronto which means fees are quite reasonable. They are also accessible by Public Transit (TTC).

Ideal for Leisure skiing but also offers Ski and Snowboard lessons, camps and private lessons. Registration is available online. “Drop-in” programs also available – call for more information.
