The Beaches International Jazz Festival is back! Enjoy the month-long music festival held each year in the lakeside Beaches community of Toronto in July.
It’s now one of Canada’s largest free jazz festivals with nearly 1,000,000 attendees, throughout its month-long span.
This year’s programming includes Sounds of Leslieville & Riverside, Salsa on the Beach, Woodbine Park Main Stage, StreetFest and the TD Workshop Series.
Festival Dates/Venues
- July 2 – 4: Sounds of Leslieville & Riverside [Jimmie Simpson Park]
- July 9 – 11: Salsa on the Beach [Woodbine Park]
- July 16 – 18: Main Stage – TD Weekend [Woodbine Park]
- July 22 – 24: StreetFest – spans 2 km along Queen St E (Woodbine Ave – Beech Ave)
- July 23 – 25: OLG Weekend Series [Woodbine Park]
StreetFest
Roads close at 6:00 pm. Performances begin at 7:00 pm. Bands along the street co-ordinate with each other so that they are not playing at the same time – usually on the hour and half hour.
TIMES: Thursday to Saturday (July 22-24) – 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Road closures will be in effect during StreetFest:
Queen Street East (Woodbine Ave to Beech Ave) is closed nightly for StreetFest from 6:00 pm to 11:59 pm Thursday thru Saturday only
