Join hundreds of dippers and thousands of spectators at the Polar Bear Dip’s 40th Anniversary in Oakville as they take the plunge into the icy cold waters of Lake Ontario to help provide clean water in developing countries.
Enjoy live music and a festival atmosphere with family and friends or take part in the dip as a wild way to ring in the new year. Dress up in your craziest costume to win prizes – all for a good cause – World Vision Canada.

12:30 pm: Registration Opens, Live Music and Festivities Begin
1:15 pm: Costume Contest
2:00 pm: Dip takes place (sharp)
4:00 pm: Post-Dip Party at Tin Cup, Oakville
Note: This is one of many New Year’s Day ‘dips’ into the chilly waters of Lake Ontario.
