Stratford Festival runs from April – November in Stratford, Ontario (Shakespeare country) each year and is the largest classical repertory theatre in North America.

If you’re on a budget, no problem, Stratford Festival offers Special Spring Rates for performances in April and May. They also offer discounts throughout the season:
No Car… No Problem
If you don’t have a car – no problem! The Stratford Festival offers a bus service from Toronto to the Theatres in Stratford for a reasonable fare ($39 return).
It departs from the InterContinental Toronto Centre on Front St daily (10:00 am – some days there are more departures).

Maybe consider visiting St Jacobs Village (Menonites) which includes Elmira and nearby Elora (Gorge/Falls) is on your way to (or from) Stratford.
