Canada Day would not be the same without Fireworks! So, if you’re looking to end your Canada Day celebrations with a BANG… then you may want to consider heading to one of these fireworks displays (weather permitting, of course!).
Remember, in order to get a good viewing spot, you may want to go a little earlier!
ALL are FREE unless otherwise stated!
NOTE: There’s NO fireworks at Nathan Phillips Square
DOWNTOWN
Ashbridges Bay
Downtown: Dusk (approx 10:00 pm)
Celebrate Canada Day at Ashbridges Bay Park.
Take a blanket or chair. Easy to get to (Lakeshore Blvd E / Coxwell Ave) via TTC.
You can either watch from the Bay
OR
from Woodbine Park where the Q107 CANADA DAY will have accompanying music for the display
TTC service will be increased for the night (Queen Street E streetcar; Coxwell, Main and Woodbine South bus routes) to handle the 80,000+ people expected at the park.
TIP: try and take TTC instead of driving there…it’s a total nightmare (for parking too!).
