The 23rd edition of the aluCine Latin Film & Media Arts Festival (October 5-7) focuses on the magic of music in Latin cinema.
Music connects people with memories, nostalgia, and emotions, from the happiness of cumbia from the 60s to the Chilean jazz drummers, Colombian vallenato, women percussionists in Toronto, and Brazilian bossa nova.
Regular screenings are restricted to those 18 years of age or older according to the Ontario Theatres Act.
