The Santa Claus Parade is a treasured and storied annual event that Canadians look forward to every holiday season. Attracting more than 750,000 attendees, it is the largest outdoor entertainment event held in the country each year.
Officially kicking off the festive season, the Original Santa Claus Parade will feature a stunning array of diverse, beautifully decorated floats, lively bands, spirited marchers, and Celebrity Clowns.
Parade Route
The Parade will start at 12:30 pm at Christie Pits, located at 750 Bloor Street West. The Parade will then go
- East along Bloor St to Spadina Ave
- South on Spadina Ave
- East on Harbord St and Hoskin Ave
- South on Queens Park Crescent and University Ave
- East on Wellington St
- South again on Yonge St to Front St
From there, the Parade will head east on Front St and finish at the St. Lawrence Market at Jarvis St.

GO EARLY to save a good spot along the route! Take lots of snacks, chalk and other fun stuff to keep your lil ones busy until Santa arrives! The Parade takes approx. 2.5 hrs to go by.
Holly Jolly Fun Run
Dress silly and get cheered on by hundreds of thousands of parade-goers, finishing at Maple Leaf Square. Join your friends and family after to enjoy the Parade!
The Holly Jolly Fun Run (5K) starts 45 minutes before the Parade. Start Line is just west of Bathurst St. on Bloor St. between Manning Ave and Euclid Ave.
Runners must be 10 years or older and accompanied by an adult if younger than 16. No strollers or dogs allowed
