Toronto’s Waterfront
There’s no New Year’s Eve celebrations at Nathan Phillips Square, although holiday lighting displays and public skating will remain available until 10 p.m.
Fireworks
Ring in 2025 with fireworks at Midnight, visible from anywhere with a view of Toronto’s inner harbour.
Tune in at 11:50 p.m. on December 31 for the #NewYearsEveTO countdown and a 10 min fireworks display launching at midnight across the waterfront.
Some FREE activities are available leading up to the fireworks (beginning 10:00 pm) at the following locations along Toronto’s downtown waterfront:
- Sherbourne Common (61 Dockside Dr.)
- Exhibition Common (Harbourfront Centre)
- Toronto Music Garden (476 Queens Quay W.)
There are no fireworks at City Hall or Nathan Phillips Square.
Alternative viewing locations, with audio broadcast, along the waterfront include:
- Sugar Beach Park
- Harbour Square Park
- HTO Park
- Little Norway Park
